Transportation

Conference participants will likely fly in and out of Montréal's International airport in Dorval, on the Island of Montréal, about 20 minutes from downtown and the Conference venue. Chartered planes to Montréal occasionally land and depart from Mirabel airport, 45 minutes away. Organized transportation is available at each airport by shuttle bus which deposits travellers within a few minutes of the conference venue. Taxi fare from Dorval airport to downtown is fixed by law at CDN$28.

Montréal has an extensive underground railway system, locally know as the "metro", and the conference venue is accessible by either the Bonaventure or Square Victoria stations. Extensive bus services, consisting of 155 daytime routes, as well as 20 night service routes, render the need for a car a moot point.
