Special sessions

Interested and qualified individuals are invited to participate in the conference by organizing and chairing invited sessions. Interest in organizing such sessions should be communicated to the organizing committee ASAP with a 500 word abstract and the CV of the organizer with a cut-off date of 15 January 2001. The technical committee will review these submissions for technical merit, redundancy and availability of space. The proposed organizers of redundant special sessions will be notified to give them an opportunity to co-ordinate a possible joint session. Each approved invited session must have 4 to 6 paper presentations. The organizers of these sessions will be responsible for soliciting the presenters of invited papers (in agreement with the Technical Program Committee Chairman). All accepted invited papers are expected to be presented at the conference. Accepted proposals will be put on these Web pages to help organizers in promoting their own sessions.

The following special sessions will be organized by the relative Point Of Contact (POC) for FUSION 2001. The POC will have a list of already submitted abstracts on the topic relevant to their special sessions. Whenever possible, a short description is attached as soon as it is received by the POCs.
