Title of lectures

Special functions associated with integrable quantum systems

Lecturer:

Simon RUIJSENAARS, CWI Amsterdam

Outline:

Special functions arising in relativistic integrable generalization of Calogero-Moser-Sutherland systems. Commuting analytic difference operators. Special functions as solutions to analytic difference equations. "Relativistic" generalizations of the Euler gamma function, Gauss hypergeometric function and the Lam\'e function. Quantum-mechanical aspects of these functions.
