The school objectives are:

- Introduce statistical genetics to students with a statistical background;
- Learn to identify the major statistical challenges in statistical genetics;
- Learn to apply existing methods for the analysis of genetic data by taking their specificities into account.

This school is open to undergraduate and graduate students. All courses will be taught in English.

Partial and total travel awards are available for registered students. These scholarships are for a maximum amount of $ 700. Their number is limited and will be offered to the first registered students, sending a proof of travel expense by email to Lajmi Lakhal-Chaieb (lakhal@mat.ulaval.ca).
