Instructions for submitting manuscripts to the proceedings

Contributions

 Abstract submission is now closed.

Abstracts for contributed talks should be submitted by March 4, 2008 (extended deadline) at this Web site.  Abstracts submitted shortly after that date may be considered if there is still room in the program, but there is no guarantee.

Each abstract should fit on one page and include the title of the talk, the name, email address (or web page), affiliation, and full postal address of the speaker, the names and emails of other authors (if any), and a summary of the talk with enough information to assess the relevance and novelty of the results. All abstracts must be in English. Please use the LaTeX template mcqmc08-template.tex  and upload both the .tex and .pdf files when submitting your abstract. The .tex file should be self-contained. It will be used to construct the program. If you are really unable to use LaTeX, then you can upload a plain text file instead.

Notification of acceptance will be given by March 14 (or earlier, for early submissions). Except for the invited plenary speakers, all talks will be 30 minutes long including questions and discussion.

Proposals for special sessions (3 or 4 talks) will be accepted on a limited basis. They should be submitted to the conference chair by January 25, 2008. They should contain a short description of the theme and scope of the session, the name of the organizer, and the names of the proposed speakers. You may want to use the following LaTeX template mcqmc-session.tex or just send a email with all the information. Notification of acceptance will be given by February 6. The deadline for the abstracts of talks in proposed sessions is the same as for the contributed talks. Each author must indicate the title and name of organizer of the proposed session in her/his abstract.
