Le
Réseau de calcul et de modélisation mathématique (rcm2), le Service Météorologique
du Canada (SMC) d'Environnement Canada, la Fondation canadienne pour les sciences
du climat et de l'atmosphère (FCSCA), l'Institut de prévention
des sinistres catastrophiques (IPSC) et l'Université McGill vous invitent
à un symposium public pour souligner le lancement de
quatre initiatives d'envergure à Montréal, dans le domaine de
la recherche sur le temps extrême: le Laboratoire Universitaire sur
le Temps Extrême (LUTE), le Programme canadien de recherches sur la
météorologie (PCRM), la chaire de recherche sur le temps extrême
de l'Université McGill et deux réseaux de recherche en temps
extrême.
The Network for computing and mathematical modeling
(ncm2), the Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC) of Environment
Canada, the Canadian Foundation for Climate and Atmospheric Sciences (CFCAS),
the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction (ICLR) and McGill University
are organising a public symposium to celebrate the launch of several
large scale research initiatives in Montreal on the topic of extreme weather:
the Laboratoire Universitaire sur le Temps Extrême (LUTE), the Canadian
Weather Research Program (CWRP), the McGill University Chair in Extreme Weather
and two research networks in extreme weather.
