Equity is a process that begins with the recognition of inequalities and consists of ensuring a sustained effort for fair, impartial and transparent treatment

Diversity refers to the conditions, modes of expression and experiences of individuals and different groups, defined among other things by age, gender, level of education, sexual orientation, identity and gender expression, family structure and responsibilities, migration status, belonging to a racialized group, belonging to the indigenous community, religion, disability, language, place of origin, ethnicity, culture, socioeconomic status and other attributes.

Inclusion refers to a process of intentionally engaging diversity to ensure that every member of the mathematical community is able to participate and actively contribute to the progress of the Centre de recherches mathématiques with equal recognition.
