Background

The central theme of the meeting is the interplay between the theory of dynamical systems and spectral geometry. In particular, the workshop focuses on applications of dynamics to the study of spectral asymptotics. Main topics include: spectral asymptotics on negatively curved manifolds and hyperbolic dynamics, Laplace and length spectra, elliptic operators on vector bundles and partially hyperbolic flows.

Two minicourses will be given by S. Nonnenmacher (CEA-Saclay) and R. Schubert (University of Bristol). Each will present two conferences within the workshop and a third one the following week.
