ACCOMMODATIONS in Halifax
Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the following hotels and B&B's at the rates listed below.
INDIVIDUAL RESERVATIONS: must be made directly with the hotel. Be sure to state that you are part of the indicated group. The rooms will be held until April 1st.
SHARING OF ROOMS:
- If you already have a roommate in mind, contact the hotel or B&B directly.
- If you wish to be matched with a roommate for accommodation, DO NOT CONTACT the hotel or B&B. Instead, contact Andrea Fraser (afraser@mathstat.dal.ca) and indicate:
- your preference (if any) of the hotels and B&B's listed below
- smoking or non-smoking room
LOCATION
All hotels and bed-and-breakfasts below are within easy walking distance (5 to 15 min) of the math department. The closest is the Verandah B&B, which is just a few buildings away, actually on campus. The rest are a few blocks away, but none very far. The Lord Nelson hotel is closer to the department than the Holiday Inn, and also convenient to downtown and restaurants.
