Smith (North Carolina), Claudia Tebaldi (UBC), Han von Storch (Hamburg), Francis Zwiers (Environnement Canada)

Partners: OURANOS, SAMSI

The workshop aims to bring statisticians and climatologists together to talk about new statistical methodologies devoted to the study of climate change. The themes that will be addressed during the workshop include assessment of uncertainty in climate change projections, spatial patterns of climate, climate reconstruction, climate extremes, climate trend assessment, downscaling, data assimilation and stochastic weather generators.
