Copulas are popular modeling tools for the dependency between the components of a stochastic model. This scientific meeting presents recent developments concerning the construction of copulas of arbitrary dimension and the application of copulas to discrete data. Several applications of copula models in mathematical statistics will be provided. The meeting will also consider applications of copulas in actuarial sciences and in risk theory and their impact on tail dependency.
