Problems involving interfaces or boundaries are ubiquitous in mathematics and in models from physics and engineering. These problems are present in many applications such as fluid dynamics, electromagnetism, and generally multi-phase and multi-physics systems in science and engineering. Much of the effort surrounding computation of boundary and computations of interface problems and the consideration of complex boundary now falls within different communities. The aim of this workshop is to bring together those who develop algorithms such as mathematicians and numerical analysts with those from the applied science community who use such algorithms for solving interface and complex boundary problems.

Please note that the workshop will be held at the Pavillon J.-Armand-Bombardier at the Université de Montréal.
